Friends , I am in need of aid on solving inequalities, least common denominator, equivalent fractions and angle suplements. Since I am a novice to Remedial Algebra, I really want to understand the basics of Basic Math fully . Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can start learning the fundamental principles ? I have a midterm next week.

Hi , just a year ago, I was stuck in a similar scenario . I had even considered the option of leaving math and selecting some other course . A colleague of mine told me to give one last chance and sent me a copy of Algebrator. I was at ease with it within an hour. My ranks have really improved within the last one month.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through difficulties with side-side-side similarity, x-intercept and quadratic equations. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
