Guys and Gals ! Ok, we’re doing solving equations that cannot be done by factoring and I was not present in my last math class so I have no notes and my professor teaches stuff way bad that’s why I didn’t get to understand it very well when I went to our algebra class a while ago. To make matters worse, our class will have our examination on our next meeting so I can’t afford not to study solving equations that cannot be done by factoring. Can someone please help me try to learn how to answer couple of questions regarding solving equations that cannot be done by factoring so that I can prepare for the test . I’m hoping that somebody would help me ASAP.
What specifically are your difficulties with solving equations that cannot be done by factoring? Can you explain a bit more . I remember that recently I too had to go through a similar period of unease. In my instance, my frantic hunt led me to a tutor in my neighborhood. But he was so occupied that he just did not have the time for me. He was the one who actually suggested that these days there is yet one more answer at hand. He initiated me to these breathtaking programs in math .
I would just add a note to what has been said above. Algebrator no doubt is the most useful tool one could have. Always use it as a reference and a means to learn and never to cheat.
A great piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving graphing parabolas, relations and algebraic signs. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Pre Algebra, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
